Welcome to the American Drone Council, offering the best drone instruction in Western North Carolina.
Jason developed much of his curriculum out of the search-and-rescue work he and other drone operators did across our region during Hurricane Helene and his previous 10 years of experience flying drones. If you had crews in the field during that response, you already know how valuable a well-flown drone with thermal capability can be when you're trying to locate people in terrain that's hard to reach on foot. This course is built to sharpen those skills before the next time you need them.
Space is limited and first responders are strongly encouraged to register. If your department has been considering investing in drone-based SAR capability — or already has a drone but wants pilots trained to use it under pressure — this is a rare opportunity to get that training locally, from someone who's done the work in our mountains.
Join us for a state of the art training course!
